Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are well-known for finding the most comfortable spot in the house….be it our bed, (they jump on, we push them off), or next to a nice warm radiator, nicer still if their bed is there as well. They don’t like rain, that’s for sure and you almost have to drag them out when the weather isn’t great. One thing they do have is a loving nature and if you are sitting in a nice comfortable spot they don’t mind sharing with you. Better still, if they can get you to move they’re even more happier. These two are past masters at all of the above and here they are sharing with my wife (that’s her knee). Now that’s what I call comfort. How do you get yours…comfort, I mean?

Mike, those dogs look like they are in lounger heaven! My cats typically do this on the back of the couch 🙂 http://aurelientt.wordpress.com/2011/10/07/weekly-photo-challenge-comfort/

Brandon, thanks for the comment. Cavaliers are well know for finding somewhere comfy. When my wife was single they’re cat did the same. If I sat on the couch it used to have a swipe at me….

They are such sweet pups. I don’t have any pets but, if I could, CKC spaniels have always been top of my list! Great shot and thanks for the Zemanta reminder!

They are loveable and so very friendly to people, great with children. All the kids on our street know them and want to pet them when they are out walking. Zemanta is well worth using

The Black & Tan likes resting his head on my knee whilst I scratch behind his ears, he’ll go off to sleep almost straight away when I do that

Wicked being the operative word. I’m sure dogs are telepathic. They gang up on my wife to give them a treat. One sits one side the other opposite then they give her an intense stare, almost like they are willing her to get up and give them something. After a while when that doesn’t work they start pawing her, first one dog, then the other, until she gives in….

Makes me relax just to look at them. I thought of doing a cat photo but it’s become a cliche. Our chickens never look comfortable–even nesting they look kinda grumpy.

Thanks for the like on my comfort shots. I have a cousin who belongs to a King Charles – Maggie (the dog) is famous for helping do the dishes (licks them clean right in the dishwasher). She’s also a good cuddle buddy!
