Hot Dog

On a hot day there’s nothing like going for a paddle in some very cold water. He’s called Rooney and he had just come out of the water when I managed to grab this one. Taken on the shores of Loch Lomond, Scotland, with Ben Lomond in the background.

Loch Lomond is the largest body of freshwater in mainland Britain. It has been used by generations of Scots and visitors for boating, water skiing, bathing and other less active pleasures such as picnicking or just enjoying the unique atmosphere and scenery.

He looks so stately and proud. His fur blends with the background of the mountains, like a fine art painting that should be on display in a art gallery.
    Thanks for sharing.

    Hiyah Mike

Lovely shot and ALL in focus. A great setting for this portrait.

Now there is a photo worth framing. Great shot of both the dog and the background.

i love the angle from which you’ve clicked this one. plays tricks with the eyes; makes the dog look so (gigantically) majestic!

Great angle and wonderful colours. The ripples in his coat kind of match the ripples in the water and the clouds.
