For this weeks challenge I’ve gone to Talacre, not far from me and one of my favourite locations on the coast. The tide was out, but due to come in soon. So it wasn’t time to hang around. Ripples in the sand and reflections in the water. Talacre has some large sand bars and when the tide comes in you have to be careful. Lose concentration and you’ll find it’s come in behind you.
And that’s what’s happening here. The tide is coming around the back of the lighthouse, creeping forward at quite a fast rate, Soon the lighthouse will be an island on it’s own but eventually those rocks you can see will be covered as well.
Ripples in the sand have always attracted me. Although not uniform I like the rigidity and the way they create those patterns.
That’s it folks. Hope you enjoyed the photographs.
